 Y’all should by now that I love to doodle, but I also love to keep journals of all kinds. My 2 most favorite journals are my Thankful and Bible journal’s. Been dutifully journaling since 2018. I usually journal during breakfast or before I go to sleep at night. Journaling for me expels negative thoughts and releases positive energy that is very much needed in today’s times. I totally recommend it! 🥰This morning’s Bible journal entry comes from:

As an artist, I spend an insane amount of time wondering if I’m doing it right. At some point I just remind myself that I’m doing my best and that’s good enough🙏🏾💞🙏🏾💞 #artlife #artistthoughts #artistsofinstagram #artistmind Art mistakes…we’ve all done it. Have you ever created something that you just didn’t like? You stared at what you created and just wanted to throw it in the garbage😔 That’s how I felt, my idea for this canvas painting didn’t turn out how I expected and was sucking the creative energy out of me. As I was going through it, in my mind I was seeing it as a failed experiment, but took the opportunity to keep pushing forward and searched on Pinterest for inspiration. And, I birthed…”Turquoise Garden” inspired by similar artwork I’ve seen on Pinterest using Gold Leaf. It’s not exactly my style, but it will work😊 This is an 18x24 mixed media acrylic painting.
